The Zentraedi Tactical Battlepod TBP-Z1 was an advanced Battlepod seen during the Robotech Expeditionary Force era.
A series of virtual version of the Mecha were included in the Combat Simulator used to test the abilities of pilots before the expedition to Tirol. Jack Baker failed his mission when the Mecha arose from the water around him and killed the simulation. (Robotech II: The Sentinels: "The Inorganics")

The TBZ-Z1 Battlepod was meant to be Robotech Expeditionary Force Zentraedi mecha, used by the men serving under Breetai in the Cancelled Robotech II: The Sentinels series. because of the series' cancelation three episodes in, Jack Baker's simulation in the second episode has been their only appearance in Primary or Secondary canon. When the series was adapted into a comic, the artists choose to draw Macross Saga-era Battlepods instead, as the trademark issues were more lenient on comics than animation.
Palladium Books' Robotech II: The Sentinels Roleplaying Game listed it was being used for REF-allied Zentraedi.
