Teal was a member of the Sentinels from the planet Spheris. She shaped Baldan II, after the death of Baldan made her his widow.
Baldan was not originally her mate, as he had been chosen by Tesla which caused issues with Teal. She was able to put them aside for the sake of Baldan II. When Praxis was on its road to destruction, she tried to keep Baldan from entering the rocos of Praxis, knowing he might not survive, demonstrating she cared for her fellow Spherisian.
Behind the scenes[]
According to the timeline in Robotech II: The Sentinels Book 4 0: Special Zero Edition, Teal and Arla-Non were set to die in 2029 after Janice Em sacrificed herself to end Edwards in the Genesis Pit during the Battle of Optera. When the timeline was retconned with Robotech: Prelude to the Shadow Chronicles, Teal was not shown perishing and only makes a brief appearance in the 1st issue.
