The Technical Official was a member of the Robotech Defense Force, durimg the First Robotech War. On the launch day of the SDF-1 while Alphonso Russo was giving a speech, he told Henry Gloval about the space monitoring statin noticing a flash of light and explosion, followed by gravity field irregularities. Gloval reminded him how this happened 10 years ago and they went to the SDF-1 to investigate, only for the Main Gun to go off on its own and take ut a Zentraedi ship.
