The VF/A-6ZX Veritech was a variant of the REF's Shadow Fighter produced in limited numbers and only given to elite pilots. Superficially, it looks like a Shadow Fighter with the head unit and brake equipment suite of the Alpha Fighter’s Z-variant. It is also equipped with additional communication and command systems that aid squadron commanders and has slightly improved performance. In addition the variant of uses Shadow Devices and can dock with a Shadow Beta, also the Super Shadow Fighters were based on the VF/A-6ZX in some respect as a new VF/A-6ZY Build. Skull Squadron Commander Maia Sterling flew one during the The Battle of Reflex Point.
