The VFA-6X Shadow Fighter is a stealth variant of the VFA-6 Alpha Fighter. It was developed by the Robotech Expeditionary Force after it was discovered that Invid sensors could detect protoculture emissions. The Craft Uses The Shadow Devices and a Shadow Beta could dock with this craft and could be equipped with experimental equipment that the Super Shadow Fighters used to mount Synchro Cannons.
