The VR-098 "Devastator" Cyclone was a new model in 2044, taking aspects of the VR-041 Heavy Armor Veritech Motorcycle and mixing it with the night and thermal vision modes of the VR-038. This meant that it was a well-balanced vehicle from Robotech R&D. It was armed with missiles, similar to the VR-052F, and whatever sidearm the pilot chose.
Behind the scenes[]
In the core continuity, the "Devastor" series became the VR-055 Veritech Cyclone and the VR-057 Veritech Super Cyclone.
