The VR-101P Cyclone "Shadow Dancer" was a prototype Veritech design. In 2044 it was assigned only to special forces, and had a cloaking device. It was armed with Missiles and the CADS-1 ceramic blade system.
During the Battle of Reflex Point, the special forces team of Maria Allentes, Anna, and Vera were equipped with them. They ambushed Xed and Locke as the latter approached the hub.
Behind the Scenes[]
- The design first originated among fans, with the description appearing in the Protoculture Addicts #10 fanzine as the VR-064.
- There are three endings to Robotech: Invasion. In one of them, the player must duel with the Shadow Dancers.
- The design was derided by fans and has not reappeared in the core continuity.
