Captain Vince Grant was a Robotech Expeditionary Force officer, and the husband to Jean Grant and father to Bowie Grant.
During the Pioneer mission, Vince and Jean departed with the SDF-3, leaving Bowie behind with Dana Sterling with Rolf Emerson as ward; they fought in the Second Robotech War. Meanwhile the REF liberated Tirol from the Invid, and the Grants volunteered to join the Sentinels, leading from the GMU.
At the time of the final liberation of Earth, Vince was the commanding officer of the Ark Angel.
