The Yokohama Marine Tower was an observation deck in Yokohama, Japan. According to Lynn Minmei, who made an effort to show Rick Hunter the land marks in her home town, the tower was more than 2,900 feet high, and was considered the tallest structure in the world when it was built. She also claimed that it was as old as her, apparently placing its creation around 1993. Rick, however, seemed uninterested in the tower, much to Minmei's annoyance. (Masters Saga: "Homecoming")

The real Yokohama Marine Tower is not quite as Minmei describes it in "Homecoming." The real tower was inaugurated in 1961, and is 348 feet high, and has been called "the tallest lighthouse in the world," but not the tallest "structure." These discreteness could be seen as mistakes on the part of Minmei, and were possibly purposeful.
